I can see it now, the corrupt bodies throwing the rule book at anyone who claims the Title after having been cheated out of it. The bodies are stupid and corrupt but I don’t think they are that stupid – or maybe…………..?
To stave off the above scenario I think they will have little option but to award to the runners up The Title..

‘I agree that a “guilty” verdict is as inevitable as it can be’

Once the guilty verdict is handed down there will be no need for a corrupt body to “strip titles”
I assume that any club that ended up in second place due to cheating, will themselves assume what is rightfully theirs, the Title. I can’t see anyone objecting to this, it would make no sense.
I see the IOC have stripped the Olympic Bronze medal from one of the cheats – yes the Bronze.

I appreciate your detailed and calm response.
A couple of things and I promise, like yourself, that I will call a halt at that.
Already we know that there were six players in receipt of EBTs and for over a period a ten years This is a fact. These EBTs were paid under the table and were not declared to SFA, in other words it’s called cheating. You do not have to wait on LNS to know that titles were won by cheating over those ten years..

”I bet a fiver you never once went on RM or any of the other poisonous sites emanating from Ibrox and chastise them the way you have come on here and done so – if you have I await the evidence.”

With regard to the above, you say your are a ‘The Rangers’ supporter All I say here is that your argument would carry a little more credence, if you, at any stage, took issue with any of the poisonous stuff that emanates from those sites – whether they listen to you or not is not the point – a bit like chastising other peoples children while allowing your own do what they like.

“.I have no intention of signing up to RM (are you signed up there?)”

In general your post is a pretty good response to my take on your post, but the above snide remark among a few others undoes IMO any of the well thought out points you bring to the argument.

Did anyone notice Mc Coist’s body language today? For a man celebrating the winning of a title he seemed under huge pressure. Cardigan looked like a man who just lost the title – metaphorically speaking that is!

Arabest1.

I never said Lunny had anything to do with the POTY nominations.

If there is a classier defender in Scottish football at the moment better than Mulgrew then I’ll eat my hat. Foster might have dipped a bit but, on balance, for him to get into the English squad must certainly have put him on the short list for POTY nomination.
Regarding N Lennons attempts at using this as a motivation for his team, all I can say it ain’t working – look at yesterdays display. BTW well done Motherwell.

I am disappointed you chose to use the following to make your point, :
“or is he really claiming professional footballers in Scotland are delivering a metaphorical ‘Presbyterian slap’ to his players?” –

One other thing. To use the term ‘slitting of wrists’ on this forum to get your point across is beneath contempt. You are a very lucky person that hasn’t come into contact with the scourge of modern society – suicide. If you did I’m sure you would not have used such a crude term so recklessly.
