With it being quiet an’ all with the footie being on, this is just a little reminder.

BTW, this is really just for those who follow New Rangers, people like Campbell Ogilvie and Stewart Regan and some guys in the newspaper industry, so if you’re a regular on here, you’ll find this a bit boring, so I would advise that you skip this and jump to the next comment.

There are just over 7 billion people on the planet.

About 6,999.950,000 of that total know that RFC is dead.

The rest, mainly New Rangers supporters, are in a very confused state, mainly about who they are, where they are and where they’re going, and what time it is, stuff like that. And they keep getting their name wrong too. It’s a shame really.

One more thing. They think that they are right and the other 6,999,950,000 are wrong.

I hope this helps them get things a little clearer.

One last time – RFC, all of it, is DEAD.

I don’t think TSFM, or anyone for that matter, are saying it’s not an issue. It’s a major issue. I think the point of TSFM’s response was to suggest that the same thing doesn’t have to be repeated so many times.

Move on until there’s further information that can be added and discussed.

When I was on a Disciplinary Panel for an amatuer league the protection of referees was paramount.

I was therefore astounded when after delaying the hearing Calum Murray spoke out in defense of Diouf/Bougherra. I wondered what other referees thought of him being asked to do so and that he did. The handling of that whole episode stinks.

My conclusion was that protecting Rangers was of the highest prioriy at the SFA. No surprise that this policy continued after they were liquidated.

Its all about the money, always was

If it’s all about the money, does that mean you agree that Celtic would have been treated the same?

Anyway, that’s all deflection as we were talking about whether Scottish football would bend the rules as far as they could to keep the two Glasgow clubs in business at any price. My view is that it would. Celtic, like Rangers, wouldn’t be treated in the same way Gretna were.”

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We (Celtic) have NEVER been treated the same as the old (or new) Rangers.

When the bank was for closing Celtic down my abiding memories were of the MSM baying for blood, countdown to closure, hearses at the stadium etc. it was a great laugh.

It is refreshing to see outside bodies involved, HMRC, BDO, Lord Nimmo Smith, let’s hope justice will be seen to be done.

Interesting times ahead.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thats funny, my memories of last year are “the MSM baying for blood, countdown to closure, hearses at the stadium etc”………….well along they lines anyway.

As for it being “a great laugh”…………yes, I’d say most of my friends (outwith Rangers) had a great laugh!

Very little difference in my opinion apart from circumstances and a natural difference due to 20 years having past!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

HUGE difference

There was no collusion between the governing bodies to rescue Celtic by any means necessary,

No talks of armageddon, re-structuring etc.

We would have been going the way of Airdrie, Gretna etc……………As would have been right and proper.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I’m saying that the difference, if any, would be down to circumstance and a change in the times. I believe if it happened to celtic in 2012 then they would be treated the exact same.

I guess we’ll never know for sure.

1 On why Rangers fans ( some not all ) are resistant to Ashley, then I would refer to the reaction to Bill Miller and Bill Ng as examples of why this is the case.

Rangers fans for decades wanted players from a specific background to represent the club.

Ashley as owner is exactly what Rangers need just now.

Barcabhoy, I spat my coffee out this morning, when I read your post, almost staining my cardigan.

Do you really believe that Ashley cares or has any interest in restoring Rangers? He cares about his onerous contracts and anything that might negatively influence them.

As for Rangers fans wanting “players from a specific background”. If you mean with a ‘background’ of specifically good ability and attitude, then I wholeheartedly agree!

Good one Barcabhoy.

He is simply on this site for one thing only – to suck the lifeforce out of any well reasoned polemic that further imperils the now noxious TRFC brand.

Auldheid, I can’t disagree with any of that and understand.

Also, i’m not saying TSFM should stop. I just can’t contribute much now and can’t bear some of the extreme chat that seems common now.

Some posters are probably right……time to take a break.

shield, I’ve been one of those that welcomed a different view, challenging the common mindset of most posters on this blog. That inlcudes your posts but in recent times you seem to have moved to a position that says nothing wrong happened (almost straying in to trolling) – did you read the FTTT and LNS findings? You may feel that a little of bit of poor administration over ten years doesn’t amount to much but you must also surely wonder why Rangers serial poor administration and systematic non-completion of players registration was treated so differently to that of other clubs with single transgressions. Can you offer a view on that? I’ll understand if you’ve decided that it’s time to move on from all this but there is a lingering sesne of unfairness about this whole business that goes far beyond paranoid people from the east end of Glasgow.

———–
You’re actually correct blu, I have noticed a difference in my posts, which have definitely swayed more towards TRFC being innocent. I just feel things have turned a bit too sinister with conspiracy theories and claims of a higher power in Scotland. I’m sorry but I can’t contribute anything to this kind of chat.

Neepheid, you’re asking me to explain why I think a corrupt establishment doesn’t exist? How could I possibly go about answering that? It’s like explaining why I don’t think David Ike’s theories are true – it’s just a conspiracy theory!

What is the future for TSFM?

We’ve had the tax cases; winding up orders; Orlit; ‘nuclear’ info; independent commissions; and many other rumours. We’ve all enjoyed discussing it but, when you look back, none of it was accurate and obviously transpired through wishful thinking rather than fact.

It wasn’t that long ago when claims of corruption were frowned upon by big names on here. Also, any unsupported views of Lord Nimmo Smith, or other such figures, were discouraged.

Now? Well we have the majority of posters claiming that it’s all down to the establishment or a higher power that is present to aid TRFC. LNS is corrupt just as much as the SFA and other high powered organisations in Scotland.

2nd to these discussions, is talk of walking away.

As someone who doesn’t believe in this corrupt establishment, I view it as being absurd and quite laughable. I don’t thing i’m alone in this respect. I can’t find any common ground with most posters now.

Without credibility, TSFM has nothing and it’s losing it fast in my opinion.

Sorry but someone had to say it.
