May i suggest that anyone who cares about justice in scottish football emails

and outline the story of what has been going on in Govanshire over the last 25 years and explain that the reason for contacting them is due to the ineptitude of our own press and the fact they suffer from Chronic Cranio-Rectal Insertion Syndrome.
i have.

About the The Scottish Football Monitor
the reason that 99% of posts on here involve the zombies is because this is the biggest footballing story of the last 100 years, simple. until this is over with, something that will in all probability, take years, it will continue to dominate and rightly so. we should all know and realise that this is the scottish football monitor and not rtc. we will continue the work of rtc as best we can and follow it to its logical conclusion, but football will continue and that is when tsfm will come into its own. this site is different to rtc in one important factor and that is there is no “r” in the title of the blog. once the zombie stories begin to settle there will be other stories to take their place, granted these will be nowhere near as big as those we write about at present, or i sincerely hope they won’t be, but its down to us to ensure that whatever scandals threaten to engulf the game up here, we report on them as honestly as possible and in a manner that reflects accountability onto those responsible. if we are to do this and in turn live up to our name and the legacy of rtc, we must look to broaden our horizons or be consigned to history as internet bampots. at the moment i am proud to be an internet bampot as it is a moniker that indicates that i stand for truth, justice and the integrity of the game i love. In the future i would take pride in knowing that i have done something good for football, something good in the real world and not just as a keyboard warrior. this is why i strongly advocate a broadening of our horizons and moving into other areas such as fans organisations or even an online fan based magazine open to all and non discriminatory. thousands of people access this site everyday and the number is growing, but there are still many more people out there that we have not reached yet and we owe it to ourselves and football to look at how we can make the monitor more accessible that it is at present.

About the The Scottish Football Monitor
hello tsfm,
i’d like to make a suggestion regards the way that the site is currently organised. sometimes i struggle to follow post and counter post and many a time i have lost the thread of a conversation altogether. I have noticed on a few lesser sites that there is a reply icon underneath the original post and should you wish to reply to a specific post you can do so, thereby enabling a number of related posts to be read as one block rather than having to jump around and go back two or three pages in some cases to see an original post.
i’d like to ask if there is any possibility of such a system becoming incorporated into this site as it would make it much easier to follow conversations or discussions?

I would also like to say that it is my intention to set up a new blog where readers and contributors can provide me with suggestions or contact details for any organisations that would be able to help in the setting up a Scottish football fans umbrella group. I know i’ve mentioned this several times in the past, but it is an idea that i hold dear and i intend to do what i can to make this idea a reality. if it falls flat on its erse, then so be it, at least i can say that i tried. I have thought for a long time now that scottish football would be so much the better if the fans exercised their undoubted power. I will provide more details of the new blog when i can. If anyone has any constructive ideas then please let me know as i am struggling to get this off the ground. I feel like stevie wonder on a murky path…. thanks all.
🙂

By the way Amurkypath, this is how to start a discussion.

PS. I think you have verbal testes.

it would be such a pity to see such strong momentum lost to the darkness of yesteryear. All of you, please help get this together.

I’d like to extend a genuine TSFM invitation to Craig Houston to engage on this blog.

What have you got to lose? What might you gain in winning more general support?

Scottish Football needs rid of these spivs.

Great idea and would work on a number of levels. It would go some way to showing those that look to mr houston as a figurehead that this is an inclusive site based on scottish football and one that tries to be fair and objective. If even some fans of the new club are now looking for answers they could do far worse than coming here to look for them. anything that can be done to break down existing barriers should be looked into seriously as it will be seen as a genuine effort to include fans of all teams and not only the other 41 that fans of the new club seem to see it as. Any invitation should be made in the spirit of reconciliation, inclusion and progress. presenting a united front of all clubs in the country may go some way to showing the sfa that fans are simply sick and tired of their multifaceted approach to the rules and regulations governing the game in Scotland.

Alec Cameron …
======================
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcgv74698Qk Spot the horse’s a*se in the clip.

============================================================================

I worked in the Strathclyde Police stables in Salkeld Street around the time that happened. 1977/78, I think. The horse involved was an evil big b*gger named Adjutant. It was the most evil beast on the face of the earth with quite a badly deformed left shoulder, possibly caused by the size and weight of the monumental chip that it carried. I hated that horse and that horse hated me. It was my job to go in to his pen of a morning and wash his bits. The Police horses slept on beds of dried peat and when horses relax their bits tend to feel the effect of gravity and exhibit Geotropic tendencies, hence the need to give their bits a quick seeing to with a wet cloth. I took small satisfaction by making sure that when I attended to Adjutant the water was very fresh and extremely cold. Small victories and all that. Talk about giving me an inferiority complex? Good grief, this was abject humiliation and that horse knew it, I swear it would have a sneer on its face that asked how brave I was that morning. The answer was “not very, I remember Alex Cameron”. He had a bad habit of biting your shoulder if you turned your back on him, Adjutant I mean, not Alex Cameron, although I’ve never met the latter.
I had just recently returned to work after a period off sick due to fracturing a metatarsal playing footy (the only trait I have in common with David Beckham, if you can ignore running around in my pants). The horses were due to have their manes shaved and given skinheids for health reasons, to help with parasite control, not to make them look hard although it did have this side effect. I was holding on to Adjutant’s bridle to prevent him doing a runner out the door and averting the strong probability of sinking his fangs into members of the general public, no, this weapon of mass equine terror had to be kept under wraps only to be brought out as a deterrent when the two tribes went to war. With hindsight, this was the Gorbals in the 70’s so there is a strong chance that he would have been bitten back, but he proved to be a very effective weapon indeed. Anyhoo, the highly agitated Adjutant then decided that he would see how high he could lift me off the ground and reared up on his hind legs, ho-ho Silver like and crashed down with all his weight onto the concrete floor of the stables whilst using my slowly recovering and heavily bandaged and swollen big toe to cushion the impact and impending effects of gravity. I think this was the first time that a Police cadet had ever been transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and wheeled out from the back end of a horse box. That animated can of dog meat was highly persuasive in helping me decide that a career in Strathclyde Police was perhaps not a good path for me to follow.

That nag hated human beings, so God only knows why it attacked Alex Cameron…

Apologies for going OT, but i’ve been waiting a long time to vent my spleen regarding that creature from the seventh circle of hell that would have given Sleipnir itself a run for its money.

Podcast Episode 4 – Turnbull Hutton
is it possible that the possible signing of kenny miller is more of an effort to boost st sales rather than for his goal scoring prowess? would be economically viable to invest 300k minimum to encourage 10,000 st sales to help provide much needed finance?
It seems a ridiculous signing to make when you consider age and scoring record, but its a different story if its a tool to provide much needed cash.
Its just a thought that went through my mind.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

taking off my tinfoil hat for a moment, nothing at all ever seems to stick to the newest football club in scotland. can it really all be down to ineptitude and honest mistakes? or is it something more sinistre (sic)?
I cannot say either way, the only ones who know are the people that make the decisions and form the judgments in the first place. the only thing that i can say with any degree of certainty is that the men who run football are nothing short of multifaceted cowards. without fear or favour? don’t make me laugh.
tinfoil hat back on.

can i get away with that one mods??
😀
