Recent seat damage has shown that replacements come in at around £200 a pop. Sevco are sitting on (pun intended) around £10m worth, possibly more if you factor in emotional attachment. Add in the contents of the trophy room, art and memorobillia, old programmes, jerseys etc, top it up with a bit of turf, a boardroom table and a staircase for a swanky American home, a few, if limited bob, for some players, and the assets, and I would say TRFC are good for the money they owe RIFC.
Pity about the Arsenal shares, but there is always some way to recoup any losses incurred. Enough to at least fund a one-way exit from a light airfield….No messy administrators required…..Just shut up shop.
    Just saying like.    06

Much speculating as to the “real” situation surrounding JB, so I will throw my tuppence worth in. The suspension extension to the extension, may have Warbs having the upper hand.
Imagine if you will, Warbs has said, “PR all you like, loads of clear the air talks, do what you will…….But I’m not picking him…..Not even for the bench”.
Much harder to PR their way out of that super-fit boot-camp Joey situation, so are left with little option but to get rid. (but can’t afford)
Warbs actually looked quite relaxed today (prior to JT’s intervention) but was deffo in, “Keep yir nose clean” mode, suggesting he knows that he is in a similar situation to JB. …i.e. If you want me out it will cost you.
That throws up the scenario that both intend not to present a contract breach get-out for their employer.
That’s bound to get an employer a wee bit tetchy. No control whatsoever

How can a team that has Griffiths as its 3rd choice striker get beaten?   11

I hope the pathways in the approaches to CP are well salted tomorrow.  I read a few weeks ago that the pavements were very icy and dangerous on the way to the ground
I think it is covered in the criteria by which a match can take place Jimbo, but I imagine restricted to the actual property boundaries.

So the SPFL have come out and said we can’t afford goal line technology.
How much would a phone selotaped to the goalposts really cost?….OK the pinhole camera securely sited in the post or bar, but it shouldn’t run to mega bucks.
Interesting reading this past wee while. I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year.

Who Is Conning Whom?
Would it have been less embarrassing for the Sevco statement to merely have iterated. “Sorry, but we’re skint!”

Who Is Conning Whom?
DBD….Don’t you want to discover who killed your club and how?. (Because the simple fact you dismiss, is that Yes!..It did die !) Don’t you want to know who assisted them, have them exposed, and removed from office, or prosecuted if warranted?. Don’t you want rules, and governance to prevent it happening again?
No need for a glass door to see some folk coming.

Who Is Conning Whom?
I hear Sevco will be sending out a strong message at the AGM
