I haven’t been able to post a comment on the main thread since the Armed Forces debate of Sep 30th but this is a fine debating forum so I’ll try again ( and don’t mention the war ).
Although I spout a load of nonsense mostly so maybe, I’ll stick to lurking.

And to think I used to admire such admonishment. Its no fun.
I’ll go and stand in the corner.

I haven’t been rude in ignoring your concerns re source of The Sun article. My replies have been stuck in moderation ether for an inordinate length of time : in fact I’ve just seen Montenegro score a late equaliser at Wembley.

Succinctly put. The suspicion that Ibrox has been used as a money-laundering operation for years has been hinted at for ages. Perhaps it should be just openly alleged.

Scottish Football Administration in the 21st Century
At the ’88 Cup Final, the covered end was exclusively designated to Dundee Utd fans. I, and thousands of other Celtic fans, had tickets for that terracing. We turned up with no colours, just scarves stuffed down the jeans. No fuss, no hassle, no fighting. Just common sense.

P.S. Has anyone ever failed the ‘ fit and proper person ‘ test ?
Or as BRTH suggests, does such a test exist ?

I don’t know what picture you refer to. I don’t use twitter or post links or cut and paste. I ( laboriously for me ) typed out the article word for word, as it appeared in the print edition of the Sun.

Scottish Football Administration in the 21st Century
I think this snippet in The Sun was alluded to earlier :

” Rangers missed out on a share of a £600,000 pay-out from former TV company Setanta – because techically they don’t exist anymore.
Clubs who were part of the SPL between 2009 and 2012 received payments this week as their final dividend for the company going into administration back in 2009.
But Rangers got nothing because they were classed as a club which no longer exists after their liquidation in June 2012 “.

Can’t argue with that. But who classed them as such, because this is a form of taxonomy I can get to grips with.
