Ian Black and Dean Shiels, are not great players. They are average.
They went to the third division for financial reasons. Either they have no ambition or they just realise no one else would be dumb enough to pay them that kind of money. I suppose they’re just looking after their families financial needs.

Who is looking after Sevco’s financial needs?

Hello
So Sevco Scotland Ltd has changed its name to The Rangers Football Club Ltd.

Meanwhile, Rangers Football Club, that’s the one that hasn’t changed its name (apart from adding ‘in adminstration’ and ‘in liquidaion’), has sold its ground and training facility and still clings on to its SPL share.

Same club my a*se.

I would hope that true rfc (that was) fans come here and let us
know how they are reclaiming the soul of their club

Couldn’t agree more miki67. The blog must encourage and hear
everyone’s view – including rfc old and rfc new – if it is to be
taken seriously.

Absolutely. But they must come in peace. If they have a valid
point, then post it, without fear or favour. Just do so in the right
spirit.

Calm down, it’s only day one of our history.

I know that. You know that. Lets hope everyone else knows that.

With acknowledgement to Angela Haggerty for bringing this to my attention:

Old Firm documentary German tv 1974: http://youtu.be/19j95pGNzI8

A fascinating insight into Glasgow in 1974. Jimmy Reid is notable for his incredibly accurate predictions of what was happening but, what I take from this is the over reliance of the power of the ‘Old Firm’.

Scottish fitba’ is immeasurably improved by not having an all pervading ‘Old Firm’!

It’s easily done. Too much champers loosens inhibitions.

I have to say, I thought Keith’s tweet on the subject was soooperb! 😆

What Keith (and other ‘succulents’) fail to acknowledge is that the improvement in the top flight clubs (Celtic aside) is precisely because Rangers aren’t there skewing the league with their arms race mentality to the transfer market.

Clubs no longer need to try to keep up with Rangers fraudulent spending (and Celtic certainly haven’t been trying to buy success) so have been able to spend money on what’s best for them.

The nuclear winter was the one that Sir David Murray presided over!
