Some straw clutching perhaps? The actual source for this is a Daily Record article from 24th May 2015!!

What’s this?  I see TSFM gets a mention in the comments too.  Good!   http://www.thenational.scot/sport/the-kicker-sfa-can-expect-taxing-questions-from-private-eye.19137?utm_medium=social&utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_term=Autofeed#link_time=1466674415

“Most people agree that the vast majority of the Rangers support on Saturday conducted themselves well in face of a heartbreaking defeat.”

Er, apart from the smoke bombs, sectarian singing, flares and fighting with the police outside the stadium perhaps.

I fully condem the lunatics from both sides who were fighting on the pitch on Saturday, but having just watched SSN report on that batsheet crazy second statement about how Rangers fans only entered the field because of prolonged provocation and their players were being “attacked”, not to mention targeting Rod Petrie and the SFA, well I just saw this. Again, anyone who did have a go at players and staff should be done big time.

A slight stramash

This “club”, Level 5 and whoever was responsible for that statement (and the daily records crass and possibly false coverage) needs to have a real long look at themselves. They won’t though, will they?  As nobody will look at the flares and singing either. Evidence of injured players? Statements from the manager? Transparency for the fans? Nope.
Desperate, shameful stuff.

Someone would appear to have read TOG report!

John Clark Meets “The SFA”
“Angela Haggerty, editor of Common Space and Sunday Herald columnist, unceremoniously ditched by the Herald editor Magnus Llewellin after pressure from the Rangers board. The reason? She was told that “representatives of the Rangers board” threatened legal action after she expressed solidarity with Graham Spiers on Twitter”   http://bellacaledonia.org.uk/2016/01/29/scottish-media-failure-exposed/
