I note the following on the Court of Session website:
‘OUTER HOUSE ROLLS LORD BANNATYNE Friday 22nd December Judgment(No appearance of counsel necessary)
I wonder if the ibrox boards knew something was coming down the pipe line with all the musical chairs of late? and hot on it’s heals

It would take all scrutiny away from the club and could leave the chairman role to someone more respected such as Alistair Johnston.
You do know Alistair Johnston.was on the board during the EBT years and  Johnston admits the other ongoing tax probe could leave Rangers with a bill they cannot afford to pay.

I am a Celtic shareholder and if it was up to me (which it is not), I would tell the SFA here and now that Celtic Park is unavailable for any future fixture.  However I know that will not happen, but I doubt there is anything they could do to force Celtic to allow them use of the stadium.
The SFA board is due to meet in late January to consider its findings and, although no final decision is expected at that stage, it will shape Hampden’s future.

Agreed… but just where would the SFA call home?
15) With recent coverage surrounding the SFA and the Hampden lease expiring in 2020, there’s asuspicion that the SFA will take internationals, finals etc to Parkhead. Can we expect the board tovigorously push Ibrox for these fixtures and thus create another important revenue stream? The Executive is in close dialogue with the SFA with regards to the situation at Hampden.

Hope all the other clubs executives are in close dialogue with the SFA with regards to the situation at Hampden.

and the only suggestion that the job might have been too big for him has come from a representative of TRFC, a source that clearly didn’t think it was too big for him until he turned it down.
So true.

Sack Level5 ( are they still the PR outfit? I’ve lost track?) but sack whoever wrote that statement, would be my advice
Michael Stewart@mstewart_23 Insinuating that Derek is not ready for the job really is a jilted lovers response. This whole episode does not look good for Rangers.
Level 5. what a wast of money that could be spent on getting a manager.
Ps do the ibrox fans ever question just how much their cash strapped club spend on Level5 getting it wrong all the time?

CHARLES GREEN has expressed his anger and dismay at the timing of the verdict of the First Tier Tax Tribunal as it has massively affected the current status of Rangers. It was finally revealed last week that Rangers had won the tax case brought by HMRC in relation to Employee Benefit Trusts used during the reign of Sir David Murray for a number of players and some staff.Despite a concerted campaign from certain quarters, which was often hateful, that decided that Rangers were guilty of “cheating” it has been proved that is not the case. The most important aspect of it all, however, is that had this verdict been delivered in May or June then Rangers would:Still be a member of the SPL.
Still be a member of the SPL….Oh dear
