This is the most important post I have read here for a long time regarding the cheating regime of an erstwhile club. A few sleepless nights ahead for those involved I hope.Good spot highfibre.

I think you misunderstand me.  I didn’t say such action was invalid.

Nor did you, apologies Jimbo.

is almost exactly what fans of TRFC have been saying the past few years.
How sad that Celtic fans feel the need to resort to similar tactics. I blame the board.

Just because other fans have realised the power of the their football pound doesn’t invalidate the reasoning in any way Jimbo. Blame he board all you like but you and others have the power to ultimately decide the fate of Resolution 12 .

Rangers chairman Dave King is to appeal against a Court of Session ruling ordering him to make a share offer totalling around £11m.

Can anybody explain if this is feasible please? EG I always thought one had to ‘seek leave to appeal’ rather than it being an automatic right and further that the appeal must be on a substantive point of law regarding the original decision.

Thanks SMUGAS. I dont know if I would prefer to be creditor or increased shareholder with regard to this company. It looks from the latest at companies house as though the cards will have to be played shortly. All very interesting.

I seem to recall a moratorium on anyone ever..ever using the stadium as security for a loan. If/when the `soft loan` is converted to equity then is that not kind of the same thing only more wide reaching in its effect ?

Congratulations to Hearts and their fans who saved the club. They  deserved a result like this and achieved with youth given a chance. No excuses Celtic were never  allowed to play by a determined,  resolute and at times fluent opposition.

Who Is Conning Whom?
“I felt a tug on my arm”
Sinclair was fouled in the penalty box. He was pulled back..this is not fair contact in a contact sport it is a deliberate attempt to impede/obstruct prevent the player from scoring. It is true that players today exaggerate the effect of such contact but it doesn`t make that contact legal. It wasn`t shoulder to shoulder or fifty fifty it was a clumsy half retracted attempt to stop the players progress. I felt a touch of sympathy for the referee as he would be criticized either way by the pundits. “Oh..I’ve seen them given”..”He’s missed that one” etc. Once the penalty was given then the red card was inevitable as a goal scoring opportunity was denied by the illegal action of the defender who is getting off far too lightly here. He is no more a professional innocent than Sinclair and the outcome was a diminished spectacle for all viewers.
