anyone read this
I’m mid-read just now Tony but already they have gone from CW needing help to buy RFC and straight to being introduced to IA et al. They appear to have completely missed out the year that CW held RFC and gone straight to Sevco5088.

I’ve seen it used very effectively while a roof was being replaced and people were working below” ——————————————————————————————————————————- Thanks for that SCOTTC. I assume you are referring to the type of stuff we often see surrounding scaffold in city centres. I was thinking more trapeze stylee.
Actually, no, though the plastic is similar. This stuff is suspended under the roof to catch any debris. It is full rope like netting embedded in plastic.

A net?…..And what sized mesh would that be, 4 inch, 6 inch? That still leaves a freefall escape for objects such as bolts, or even a rod falling in the vertical plane.
The normal netting for that sort of purpose would, presumably, be of the sort completely sealed into plastic so that nothing can fall through. I’ve seen it used very effectively while a roof was being replaced and people were working below
Peace – Not War
On the issue of gate sharing, I don’t think there is anything inherently wrong in it, though I would agree that the days of 50:50 are behind us. After all, without two teams on the park, there is no game. 80:20? Maybe, though I would prefer to advocate the 20% going into a common league fund for a more equitable distribution still.
On the issue of CL money, then I can only agree that that is money Celtic (or another team) have earned. I can only assume that there is no gate sharing element in UEFA competitions, since Forfar never seem to qualify. 🙁

If 50% of the people have to take up the offer then how does that defend the position of small shareholders, which is the point of the rule as I understand it.
It’s not 50% of the people. It’s enough shares to take the concert parties holding to 50%+1. If they already have 35.5% or thereabouts, it’s less than 15% of all shares; about 24% of the shares out there that they don’t already hold. He will undoubtedly try to stiff Margarita/Blue whatsisname etc by trying to claim they can’t trade their shares, so that could end up in court again
Enough is enough
I’d like to see statistics regarding the ground covered by the various players last night. I lost count of the number of relatively tight TV shots where 3 or fewer Celtic players were ‘covered’ by 8 or more outfield Bayern players. They were everywhere

I wonder how DK’s legals satisfied themselves that they would get their fees? Is it the practice for QCs to ask for money up front? Or will King be able to claim on the ‘directors’ liability’ insurance cover?
John, I think PMG has blogged that he asked the RIFC board to cover his legal expenses and they said no. As for Director’s liability, I’m not sure it would cover this

Alisdair Lamont not at court today
Hopefully someone else will live tweet it. If I had known I might have gone down there myself, being unexpectedly at home
