Reflections on Goalposts
Kicker Conspiracy at 11:07, thanks for the diligence in research, I did make it clear that I was working entirely from memory. A pedant might point out that the word “ice” did not appear in front of the word “hockey”.

Reflections on Goalposts
The ice hockey team was the Livingston Rams, who had no Murray involvement. They played in the building that is now TK Maxx, due south of where MacArthur Glen now is. Late ’80s. All of this from what passes for my memory, so glad to be shot down in flames by those who know better. Although my mate was the captain.

Reflections on Goalposts
1. Just over a half million shares just traded at 26.50. Could anybody a little more market savvy than I comment?
2. Are there no Div 1 fans up in arms that they are getting gubbed by a team of full time professionals their club can, openly, not afford? Who may very well be on their way when a suitable points gap has opened up, and the milkman demands payment one Friday? I’d call that fantasy football, not professional sport. My team are in the Championship, and such tactics would have me spitting feathers.
3. Can’t see back who posted it, but the savant who pointed out the Carnoustie hotel were unlikely to ever see a blue pound had it spot on, as far as I can see.

Thanks, Big Gav at 5:53. I am a Wasp of small brain.

Scottish Football: An Honest Game, Honestly Governed?
Humour me here, I’m a specialist in not much more than gazing out the window. One of the highlights of the RIFC Annual Report 2013 was a figure on page 25 (the balance sheet bit), for current assets, of £16.163m, as “amounts due from subsidiary undertakings”. Note 15 says this is: “amounts due to RIFC from The Rangers Football Club Ltd represents (sic) the proceeds of the Initial Public Offering less costs incurred in the fundraising. The net funds from this activity have been made available to the subsidiary as working capital.”

Try as I might, I can’t find any reference to this in the interims. All help gratefully received, preferably not involving words like simpleton.

Just the one trade today in RIFC shares, and that for only 2,000. Perhaps someone more market savvy than I would like to comment? Is it just quiet? Or suspiciously quiet?
