“Reported today that Lance Armstrong will be stripped of his tour de france titles. I have decided to now call myself The Lance Armstrong, buy his old bike, claim his titles and demand entry to next years tour. If anyone objects I will call them a b1got. Lance Armstrong then, Lance Armstrong now, Lance Armstrong forever. We dont do cycling away !!!”

The Rangers saga as it happened…
And here is a wee reminder that Green has previously admitted in writing that if the CVA fails, the history goes with it.

From page 5 of the prospectus, see the 5th bullet point

“Current Situation
– 13 May 2012: Charles Green agrees exclusivity
-Rangers FC avoids liquidation via CVA subject to creditor’s approving £8.5m offer – Main benefits:
– Players contracts remain in place
– Other significant sanctions avoided, such as a 3 year ban from Europe
– History and tradition of the club is maintained
– Personal up front commitments from consortium, £8.5m required to fund CVA
– Raising up to £30m to fund working capital and development
– Funding to be in place by May 24th
-Charles Green draws together first class management team and Board
– Complementary investment team appointed to help direct the Club’s strategic growth”

The Continuing Voyage of Scottish Football – and the Wrath of Khan
JimmyBones…..Wow, is MacPherson aware of the import of what he has admitted in the reply above? He is saying that the media in general, and the Herald in particular, do not have the resources or acumen to report the twists and turns in the Rangers/Sevco saga. Which begs the question – why buy their papers?

In any event, he could have got all he needed from RTC! After all, that’s where some of his rivals got their “exclusives” (Jeezo, Even Keith Jackson got an award for his Tickitus story, months after it was on RTC)

“STV understands the panel, which will also comprise of Charles Flint QC and Nicholas Stewart QC, are unlikely to sit before October”

Chair is Lord Nimmo Smith

My firm has used 2 of the above and I am confident they will be fair, balanced and neutral.

All in all, bad news for RFC(IA)!
