p.s. I haven’t heard the dulcit tones of The Chycophant for 2 days now on Radio Scotland. It’s been bliss!

I hope someone has had a word in his ear? We’ll find out tomorrow!

Somebody needs to take Chic directly to task on this debt coming down, the bank were running Rangers nonsense. This is one of these perpetual falsehoods that’s repeated continually to support the notion that (S)DM and Walter were doing a good job before that nasty Mr Whyte got involved.

But, SURELY he understands the difference between spending more than you earn and paying off debt. I mean if he owed £10k on his credit card, and reduced this to £5k, but was simultaneously spending £1,000 per month more than he earned net he’d still be in trouble. In fact, in time he’d be bankrupt if he didn’t fix the latter.

Rangers were sold for £1 for a very good reason. They had large debts, crystallised and contingent, AND they had spending commitments that were FAR MORE than their income.

How hard can this be to understand Chic?

“How hard can this be to understand Chic?”

In Youngs case, very hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The man is like one of those old fashioned Wild West Snake Oil Salesmen who has managed to make a good living over the years sucking up to Sir Minty, “Sir” Walter, etc. He’s been priveleged in the past to meet Pele, all expenses paid by the BBC Taxpayer of course! Even got a shirt signed by him. That’s his biggest claim to fame, that and purporting to support St Mirren.

If you take a step back and look at his contributions over the last 2 years, he ticks all the boxes of the “Snake Oil Salesman”, and should be treated with the contempt he deserves. He also makes a good living in the after dinner circuit, travelling all around the country filling his pockets in far flung places we’ve never heard of that are willing to pay his fee and listen to his P$%h, again all based on his “BBC Prominence”. He should actually be nicknamed “What’s my Fee?”

How many Sports Clubs in Scotland have been regaled with his heroic tales of interviewing Pele, mixed with many funny religious anecdotes regarding Scottish Football, not to mention playing football with Rod Stewart!

I’ve heard the man is not that well liked within football circles, but still seems to have the old “Snake Oil Salesman” ability to survive, thanks to The BBC who are still giving him access to the “Inner Doors”.

So, finally to answer your question thirdmanrunning, the “Chycophant” is one of those great survivors from the olden days, not long now near retirement, but is now brave enough to show his true colours. That’s because he makes enough outside from After Dinner’s to prop up his already substantial BBC Wonga.

It’s commonly called “Brass Necking It!”

I personally find it all distasteful!

I wrote the above 6 days ago. I hope, after tonight’s Sportsound, everyone is now beginning to see what a wee S$%t Stirrer The Chycophant is becoming!

TE showed him up tonight for what he is, and The BBC should really take an interest in his motives. The BBC is supposed to be impartial, and yet they let this Clown spout his Propaganda all over our “Public” Airways!

Thanks to John Clarke as well, I’m also complaining to The BBC over this (Although by Electronic Means! I can’t remember the last time I actually wrote a letter by hand!)

SMSM Dinosaurs have for too long been fed on “Succulent Lamb”. You can tell they are getting desperate now to keep the nice lifestyle going. After all, “Succulent Lamb” is a helluva lot better than “Humble Pie!”

The Chycophant loves his Lamb!

A very strange day on TSFM.

Your not joking Squiggle! Very strange!

I’ve been trying to catch up after a long days work, but have to admit I’ve skipped all of the debate around the CFC Board stuff. I don’t really understand what it’s all about (probably because I haven’t read it!)

What’s going on here guy’s? I hope we aren’t taking our eyes off the ball? Let’s concentrate on the main scene. SFA and the new League bosses, SPL, SPFL or whatever they call themselves these days?

They are the root of the problem, and let’s not forget it, eh?

I do have to agree however, and it never really struck me properly until tonight, that these bosses in charge of the SFA and SPFL are only there because OUR Clubs (pick yours out of 42) wanted them there. That actually does send out a different message!

They are actually there unanimously or on a majority. Either way, the majority want them to carry on!

I don’t know about you, but I’m suddenly depressed thinking about that?

Someone earlier alluded to, and I’ll put it in my own words, that due to the £££££’s that the new club apparently hauls around in a large sack to every away ground, we can’t do without them. We should be so grateful that everyone is rallying around from the SFA, SPFL, all our Clubs, our Parliament, our Judiciary, our MSM, etc to ensure that this mythical sack of Gold keeps journeying it’s way round Scotland, ensuring that Scottish Football can survive!

Lets face it, don’t they have our welfare at the heart of all this. They’re really doing us a favour?

Unfortunately, I stopped believing in Santa when I was 8 years old! It didn’t stop my Parents trying to pretend he was still real though in the few years after that (even although I knew he wasn’t!)

One thing I do know, 43 years after I stopped believing in Santa, is that I don’t like people in suits making the kind of of money they are getting at the moment from a game I’ve always loved. A game that came from Working Class beginnings over a Century ago for people to unwind and enjoy at a weekend. A game that has now been taken over by Suits eager to make a good living out of it without ever stepping onto a football park!

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m beginning to hate football in Scotland now.

p.s. Another thing. All week we’ve been primed in the Media about Scotlands game tonight. Was it shown Live on BBC or STV? No, it wasn’t. How can the population of Scotland get excited about it’s own National Team without subscribing to sky sports, ESPN or going down to the local pub on a weekday when you have work the next day? I can’t afford sky sports, so tried to listen to the game on Radio. Sounds like it was a good game for Scotland, but listening isn’t the same as watching it.

Note to SFA: If you want the majority of Scotland to get excited about Internationals, especially tournament qualifiers, at least let us watch them on old fashioned BBC or ITV ! National Teams should be on National TV, not pay per view! Take note you greedy git’s, no wonder young kids are not interested in football anymore!

Scottish Football Administration in the 21st Century
p.s. Almost forgot.

Petitioners, Requisitioners, Shysters, Tax Dodgers, Liars, Spivs, Truth Spinners (MH, MSM), 2 faced Journalists (Take your pick?), 2 faced “Rangers Peepil” (again, take your pick?), Judiciary complicity, Scottish Parliament complicity, SFA complicity, the list just goes on.

This lot are just taking the Mick out of us all! This has been going on for over 2 years now. Someone, sometime has to make the decision to switch off the Life Support Machine!

I think Scottish Football can survive with it’s poison removed. It’s quite a simple operation, and like a Death in the Family, people will soon get over it and get on with their lives.

Waiting till Jan 2015 for a verdict, or sorry, start of the procedure?

Aye Right!!

That’s 11 months away

It certainly is or more.
As I realised today that’s the way it works.
Everyone (if you have the money) Gets their day.
Its the law.

It’s not Tough, it’s sad, The Law, that is! 🙁

However, JC @11:36, spot on!

Absolutely brilliant description of the history and present situation of this farce so far.

Someone might have said “A weeks a long time in Scottish Fitba'”

Why are we concentrating on a case that is going to be heard in 11 months time?

Some of the CF stuff looks genuine, some of it looks like propaganda. I’m not sure what to believe of it, but I am sure that many Lawyers are going to make a good living out of it over the next 11 months now!

I think we should start looking at the short term here rather than to next January!

Just a thought!

Re above posts on 5088:
Is it not obvious that Mr Green hasn’t actually gone away yet?

Exactly what I was thinking, Bangordub !

WTF is going on here? There have been 2 years to investigate this scam, yet 2 years on we’re seeing the same protaganists come and go as they please. The only constant seems to be AM!

I bet AM has a few stories to tell?

The whole scenario baffles me beyond belief,

I panic each month trying to pay my mortgage, but it seems to me that a bunch of suits are taking the absolute mickey stripping a football club bare to it’s bones!

Green’s time at Sheffield United proved he was a a chancer. Maybe this time he has learnt his lesson’s and now knows how to carry it out properly?

From what I’ve read tonight, I suspect something is brewing in the background. I don’t think it’s going to be pleasant for Rangers Fans though!

BTW, I noticed earlier that Mr Wallace was also a director of Garrion Security. That surely must set alarm bells ring down Govan way?

I’ve got a big question to ask.

Can anyone supply a Family Tree starting from the players upwards?

I’d like to know who the players Daddy is, and who his Daddy is, etc. Who actually is responsible for paying the wages?

Which “Company” actually has to foot the bill each month paying wages, NI and VAT?

I’ve read and learnt a lot on this blog about how companies operate. I’ve heard a lot of debate on how good HMRC, BDO, etc are. I’ve heard a lot of debate on how HMRC, BDO, etc are incompetent as well.

What I do know is that the SFA and the newly crowned SPFL are probably the biggest Idiots ever to go along with this scam.

Let’s face it, they were caught between a Rock and a Hard Place! Damned if they do, damned if they don’t!

Unfortunately, they choose the Long and Winding Road!

It should have been “Penny Lane”

The result?

Rangers now think they are Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds!

Really interesting debate tonight re-SSB. I agree, Keevins really does seem to be sticking the boot into Celtic for some reason.

Respect to Frankie though for doing the Johnstone Burgh 50th Anniversary Scottish Cup Winners thing. Gang Forward The Burgh!!

Ah! Keanie Park, good memories. I’ve got a really good soft spot for Johnstone Burgh.

Really interesting debate tonight re-SSB. I agree, Keevins really does seem to be sticking the boot into Celtic for some reason.

Let’s get some facts on the table.

Cup Ties are what they are, Cup Ties! It’s a one-off game, winner takes all, etc.

The fact is, both Morton and Aberdeen have defeated Celtic in one-off games, that’s how it works! Good luck to them.

Same as saying good luck to Maribor when they kicked RFC out of Europe a few years ago.

Football is a basic game, it’s 11 players Vs 11 other players. The team that scores the most goals wins!

It really is that simple, believe me!

Unfortunately, people like Keevins don’t like giving credit to the winning team, as he’d rather try and justify his living/ salary by slagging the bigger team who lost. That gives him bigger kudos, and get some of us hunting him down as if he has some sort of agenda.

He’s one of many Leeches with a Typewriter who couldn’t hit a Barn Door from 2 yards, but feels well qualified to dictate to everyone how bad football is in Scotland at the moment, according to him!

That’s the game they play in the SMSM. Keevins isn’t the only Numpty playing the game, we hear it nightly from the rest of the sychopants on main stream radio. They’re all determined to keep the divide going, as long as it suits their present careers, unless you’re a Numpty like JT who jumped from the Good Ship SMSM to the Titanic called Sevco! What’s JT doing now? That’s probably Hugh’s worry as well, BTW.

As I said, cup ties are a one-off, may the best team win.

I’m older now, but I well remember Cup finals from the past. Some were predictable, others were upsets! Funningly enough, and I don’t know if it’s just me, but I could probably tell you Cup winners in a certain year above who actually won the league in the same year. That’s what Cup Finals do!

The first Scottish Final I remember is Aberdeen beating Celtic 3-1 in 1970, I was nearly 9 years old. Derek MacKay became famous as “Cup Tie MacKay”, but my abiding memory was my hero at the time, Joe Harper, scoring with a penalty.

My next memory was in 1972, Dixie Deans destroying Hibs with a Hat Trick (6-1). He became my next hero, and I was privelaged to be his paper boy later on. He later also scored a Hat Trick against Hibs in the League Cup Final in I think 1974, 6-3 was the final score! Joey Harper scored all 3 Hibs goals that day as well, and ended up on the losing side.

I could go on for ever here, PT in 1971, Rae, Lawrie, McQuade & Bone, St Mirren in 1987, Motherwell in 1991, etc There are many more, Dundee 1973 for example.

It’s just a game between 22 players on a pitch at one time.

As I said, MSM punters like Keevins are on a Self- Preservation crusade, and at the end of the day, it’s up to you whether you want to be wound up or not by them?

Also, to finish, despite what I said earlier about remembering dates of Cup Winners rather than League Winners, League Winners deserve probably more credit, as they have gone through a whole campaign to reach the top.

Cup competitions are exciting, but it all depends on the luck of the draw, and how a team plays on the day, after all you don’t get a second chance uness it’s a draw and you get a replay.

I don’t understand why Keevins can’t give credit where it’s due to the team that wins?

As I said, It’s a simple game. The team that scores the most is the winner.

Hugh might like to look it up and grow a pair?
