Two questions Ryan.
Do you think the sectarian problem at Rangers is significantly worse than at any other Scottish club?
Do you agree that anything that highlights such behaviour is a good thing?
I think Mr Collymore has got his back up and charged into this situation for the right reasons. If the SFA had made any comment, pretty much ever about the sectarian problems among a sizeable number of the Ibrox support we would not be having this discussion.
The fact that the authorities have not/will not criticise this continuing stain means I am behind anything that brings it to a wider audience.
If everyone else sees how bad it is surely they must do something.

The clue’s in the name 😉

As regards the betting dispute, I think the first comment was something along the lines of “backing Hibs at 2/1 and trebling your money”
This is correct, you are trebling your money. You aren’t winning treble your money but are multiplying by 3 your original cash.
If you bought something with your last £10 and sold it for £30, you would make £20 profit but the money in your pocket would be trebled.

LNS – A Summary

BP, so you think LNS knew he was being ‘duped’ and left a wee surprise?

Whose assets are they anyway?
I am generally a ‘half full’ kinda guy but I have a horrible feeling we’re jumping the gun. After the initial FTT decision and the appeal everyone on here, myself included was advocating a ‘wait till the fat lady sings’ position.
I haven’t heard any singing, possibly because of all the title stripping noise so I’m sticking to that. Until we have a definite decision, either an appeal to the Supreme Court or time running out on the possibility I think it’s still wait and see time.
We spent months telling Rangers fans not to count their chickens and now we’re doing the same. Just because a decision went our way, the right way doesn’t mean it’s over.
Common sense has won this round but after two ridiculous decisions earlier I’m still worried that the Establishment will get their way.

Why We Need to Change
I’ve just spoken to a The Rangers supporting acquaintance who said, and I quote:
“If that had been Barcelona playing like Rangers did today it would be getting talked about for months.”
Good to see they’re taking things with their usual good grace and understated enthusiasm.

BurghGer, ‘Sevco’s’ fate was not forced upon them it was gifted to them.
You are merely reinforcing the victim mentality that has been so apparent from the Ibrox club’s fans.
They were extremely lucky to be ‘forced’ into division 3 at the expense of more deserving others.

Why We Need to Change
A question.
If we could guarantee that in one year’s time the main topic of discussion on here would be Sevco/SFA/corruption would everyone be happy with the proposed changes?
In my opinion that will be the case and possibly a year further on too. The majority of contributors on here are (mainly) interested in Scottish football and I can’t see an overnight influx of cycling or rugby fans on the back of a name change.
I agree with an earlier suggestion that we should if possible keep the SFM moniker but I’m struggling to come up with suggestions.
There’s nothing wrong with aiming high and corruption in any sport could be used as a way to get football corruption a higher profile.
