i don’t agree with teams playing friendlies once the season has started. However not many clubs would be able to turn down the big pay day though if offered.
I’m noticing a bit of a change of attitude among Celtic fans on here and on JJ’s site. Seems to me you are devolving a bit of arrogance similar to fans of the former and new Rangers. I dont visit as often because of it 18

(Edit I wrote this before reading reivers post above)

BP
apologies maybe arrogance was the wrong word.
Thou shalt no be critical of Celtic is the motto of a few on here.
Grateful and appreciative of the work the likes of JC do though

Staying On The Problem
I’m as suspicious as anyone about the cup draws Sevco keep getting however I can’t see Derek Rae,Sutton or Stewart getting involved with that.
They are just having a lucky spell.
There league fixtures I’m not so sure about.

Yes the Beach End was given up to away fans for a few years.(not just Celtic and Rangers)
Madness really having to give up our traditional end really.
One of the reasons was to stop away fans going through the town on match days.
Park on the beach boulevard and straight out of town stopped a lot of the trouble when away fans were housed in the King Street paddock.
Much more civilised and sanitised game these days when you think of some of the stuff that went on in the 70’s early 80’s

It Is Better To Offer No Excuse Than A Bad One
I watched it as a neutral and quite enjoyed it.
Expected Celtic to be all over Rangers but it was Rangers who seemed more up for it.
Cant believe it was 0-0……funny old game as they say

Who Is Conning Whom?
I think Kings/Traynors tactic is to get McInnes unpopular with the Aberdeen fans so that Milne accepts a low offer just to get rid and move on.
Pretty sure there’s no turning back now and he’ll be gone. Hopefully before Friday nights game in Dundee.
To me McInnes doesn’t come out of this too well as he’s been sleekit . Saying one thing in public while obviously discussing all things Rangers with their representatives.
Anyway nobody is bigger than the club

Time to Ditch the Geek Show
Ive got great some great news for you Jimbo.
Hampden has been all covered for a number of years and you’ve still got your own end!
I’d prefer cup finals and semi finals to be played at Murrayfield anyway but that’s not going to happen.

Can’t believe the amount of semi finals Celtic have to play at Hampden on a Sunday once the crap pitch has been dug up on the Saturday.  This time when it would have suited us more we play on the Saturday.  The team won’t get home until the early hours of Thursday morning from Munich and have to play at lunch time Sat.
What rotten luck!!  Or is it mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Look on the bright side at least you get to play semi finals and finals just a couple of miles away and you’ve even got your own end!

The Vice Closes
Going to be quiet on here today.
Hope that wasn’t jimbo on the pitch03
