HMS
AR being the ‘smallest’ team left in the draw is I think a fact.
I was referring to the outcome of the cup-tie and that to presume the qualification of Rangers without reasonable caveat would be IMO somewhat disrespectful.

————————————–
Fair doos ,Jack . Crossed wires at best . I was referring to the fact they were ”drawn” together , not the outcome , as it would be foolish to predict most results after yesterday’s games . I’d have put my house on that bein the draw for Sevco . Home tie (no 5star accommodation to shell out for ) and the smallest team left in the competition . Lo and behold , come cup draw time , it’s there in black and white . Sevco v Albion Rovers !

”Albion Rovers shouldn’t be disrespected by posters with a presumption of outcome”

—————————
That’s exactly what YOU said . ”shouldn’t be disrespected ” .
I said ” Stating Albion Rivers are the smallest team left in the draw is being disrespectful ? Are you serious ?”

Stating fact is not disrespectful .

HMS
Do they heat plastic balls?
You can’t take anything for granted, look what Morton and Albion Rovers themselves achieved earlier in the season.

Albion Rovers shouldn’t be disrespected by posters with a presumption of outcome

Stating Albion Rivers are the smallest team left in the draw is being disrespectful ? Are you serious ?

My interpretation of the ST stand off is this.

GW – so Mr RFC lawyer, what we need you to do is provide a letter of undertaking that the fans can have the stadium and training ground

Lawyer – you mean a security?

GW – Jeez no, don’t be silly

Lawyer – Ah I get your drift, something a bit more flowery, pandering to the masses and all that. A cosmetic promise to do something sometime..

GW – Exactly.

Lawyer – Right I’ll need the deeds.

GW – Ah…………
———————-
GW- ….. Mr Whyte isn’t returning our calls .

Lawyer – Craig or Thomas ?

GW – Neither .

Lawyer – I’ll get my coat , have a nice day .

😉

Don’t be surprised if the pre-season glamour friendlies/charity games at Ibrox start within the next 7-10 days.
————————–
El Galacticos ? Milanese giants ? What could be a more appealing and glamorous friendly for the sleeping Glasgow behemoths ?

Linfield . 🙄

“Armageddon? What Armageddon?”

It’s perfectly obvious what Armageddon they were meaning.
The Armageddon of one club, and one club only.
Not much has changed, it’s just watered down a wee bit.
I now await next season’s flying circus in the knowledge that the Championship is the bestest, hardest league in the wurld.
————————-
Whilst scrolling down the page , your last two lines looked like an Ibrox press release at a glance . Just as well I double checked 🙄

News to me but I’m tied up with the Brooks/Coulson trial so not really staying on top of the tax thing. Would suggest Mr Baxendale may have other reasons to do a midnight flit, never seen any suggestion he is in any way liable for how EBT scheme operated at Ibrox.
===============================
Somewhere, deep in my rusty memory banks, I seem to remember seeing somewhere that Baxendale’s very strict guidelines for operating the EBT scheme weren’t followed at Rangers. I could well be wrong but perhaps someone else might be able to identify a possible source for my memory fragment

Was the pornographer not quoted somewhere as saying ” I can build you a vehicle but I’m not responsible for how you drive it ” , or something equally facetious ?

We observers have a choice. Focus on what is on offer or on what is not.

Work with what is there or what is not.

Encourage or criticise.

Prolong or end.

Our move.
—————————————–
Our move ? No .

The next move is required by either the perpetrators or the governing bodies . The ideal statement from the SFA should be something along the lines of ……..

Singing of song X = Closed doors next home match .
Repeated singing of song X = Closed doors next 5 home matches .

This should apply to all “banned songs” , for all teams . You could , by this method ,eradicate it in one season . If you behave in an exclusionary manner , expect to be excluded . It’s well into the 21st century , enough is enough .
