Why is “scoop” Jackson recycling a two year old story in this morning’s Record? The recording of a phone call that he picks through with breathless excitement has been in the public domain for years. If Smugas is right, and it’s part of a “trash Green” campaign, then that campaign is clearly struggling if that’s the best they can come up with.
From what I can make of Jackson’s twitter account, he is pushing the line that the Board that signed Green’s termination agreement was dysfunctional, therefore the agreement is unenforceable in law. Which kind of ignores the fact that the agreement is with the Company, not the Board. You cannot look through a Company to its Board when considering contracts, so far as I am aware.
This is just a rerun of the fans’ argument that “Rangers” shouldn’t have been punished because Craig Whyte didn’t pay over taxes to HMRC. It was the company that owed the tax, and the company that didn’t pay it over. The individuals behind the failure to pay have absolutely no bearing on the company’s liability whatsoever.

Sorry folks, I got it wrong. The reference to JJ’s alleged sister is still there on John Stevens’ blog. Here is the relevant paragraph-

He also claimed that he came from a Rangers family and had a Rangers background. But that also appears to be a lie as below you will see his sister smiling at a visit to Celtic Park

This is followed by a link to the woman’s facebook profile, giving full details.

I am posting no links to this utter filth, I just truly hope that this woman does not suffer as a result of this degenerate moron’s actions..

I hope that John Stevens’ (@pzj_1) identification skills have improved since his last effort just 3 days ago.
=========================
I had a look at John Stevens (PZJ1) blog yesterday.

The most loathesome aspect of this repulsive reptile’s so-called outing of John James was the posting of a  screenshot from the facebook page of a middle-aged lady from Greenock, alleged to be the sister of “John James”, giving her full name and surname, her place of work, a photograph of her, and a comment to the effect that the photo of his sister sitting at Celtic Park “smiling” was proof positive that JJ is in fact a closet Celtic fan. The photo was of her sitting alone in a stadium with green seats, whether CP or not I have no way of telling. She was, of course, smiling for the camera.
I have just seen that this part of his blog has now been edited out, but I really hope someone has kept a screenshot. Utterly contemptible vermin, that is as high as I can rate this lamentable excuse for a human being.

For anyone from the media to declare that he doesn’t have an hour of his time to do research, as simple as reading a document, is quite extraordinary in it’s lack of awareness of how it paints him as a ‘professional’.

What struck me was the fact that he was in a discussion with a customer, or at least a potential customer. in a conversation being viewed by thousands of potential customers on a public forum.
It seems to me that this “journalist” has lost all sense of where, in the end, his wages come from. Someone takes the considerable trouble to research a story and hand it to him on a plate, and his reaction is simply  a downright rude put-down. And this from someone in an “industry” that is currently circling the plughole. Small wonder the SMSM is heading down the drain.

Resolution 12 & The Broken Bond
The Celtic Board have a huge shareholder majority behind them regarding any actions they take, or don't take. The Board can argue convincingly that any financial loss suffered by Celtic over the Res12 issue, is more than compensated for by the continued existence of a football environment in which the PLC makes pots of money.

That football environment is predicated upon the continuation of the "Old Firm" at any price. Part of that price (in the Board's view) is allowing the deep corruption at the heart of the SFA to continue unreformed.

I am not an advocate for any of this, far from it. I walked away years ago, over Ogilvie's enthronement for a second term as SFA President, unopposed by Celtic. That episode, forgotten no doubt by most on here, was the writing on the wall for me.

Everything that has happened since  has confirmed me in my view that the Celtic Board have no intention whatsoever of rocking the boat. I can understand why. But it sticks in my craw, and always will.

Honesty has no price, in my world. To say that Celtic were totally unaware of the contents of the 5 Way Agreement? Sorry chaps on the Board, but I'm not buying that one.

These days I watch St Roch's when I can. That's football for me now. A breath of clean air.

This is worth a read on the Morelos transfer saga- apologies if already posted.

I see that Sir Walter is being touted for the Scotland manager vacancy. I can fully understand why the deadly duo of Jack and Jackson are pushing this so hard.
TRFC are (as always) in some financial difficulty, despite having a squad containing galacticos in the £8m bracket. They need to get the paper value of that squad even higher, to encourage the Real Rangers Men to come forward with donations (sorry, loans). Their children’s inheritance will seem so much safer if the club has some valuable tradeable assets on its books.
This is where Walter comes in. A few international caps can do wonders for the value of even the most pitiful dumpling. Just watch, as caps are doled out to every player in the TRFC squad who has a Scottish qualification. Look on in wonder as TRFC squad value is doubled or trebled in a matter of months.
That’s the plan, folks. Desperate men, desperate measures, and all that. Shame about the better players edged out of the Scotland reckoning, an even bigger shame for the Tartan Army, who will see any prospects of Euro/World Cup qualification go up in smoke.
By the way, I agree entirely with Homunculus regarding JJ’s latest. Whether true or not, it is a disgraceful piece.

I may be wrong but I understand the loans to be viewed as money taken from the company –HMRC Guide  https://www.gov.uk/directors-loans 1. OverviewA director’s loan is when you (or other close family members) get money from your company that isn’t:a salary, dividend or expense repaymentmoney you’ve previously paid into or loaned the company– please advise?

That HMRC advice relates to the common situation where directors borrow money from their company. Here RIFC (or TRFC?) has borrowed money from its directors.
