With regards to the allegations of unrest amongst the board members at Ibrox, I suspect that if it’s true then the realisation of how fragile a financial situation they are in must be hitting home and they’re potentially looking for an escape route.

Let’s be honest, would you want to be anywhere near the controls if the wheels come off again and Admin II happens?

Interesting…

I think that a lot of the time the word ‘relegated’ has been used in a non-football sense (i.e. like doing the washing gets relegated to the bottom of my to-do list when there’s football on the telly) rather than literally meaning ‘relegated’ in the footballing sense where they went to the bottom league via a procedural mechanism.

However, by using the word ‘relegated’ it has enabled the continuity myth to be perpetuated by those who want to believe it as they could just say that they didn’t mean it in a footballing sense if they were questioned.

I guess the bottom line of my rambling is that it’s nae luck to the boy with the betting slip as I doubt Coral are going to pay out a quarter of a million on semantics…

I’m disappointed that another site seems to have a bit of a vendetta against SFM, when as far as I can see we all want the same thing.  So, in the spirit of sharing, here’s a link to a blog which I haven’t encountered before but has absolutely nailed it with regards to what is going on at the moment down Ibrox way;

I received a thoroughly depressing, but ultimately unsurprising letter back from the Scottish Government to tell me that whilst they are aware of the Supreme Court judgement it’s matter for the football authorities to deal with.

On the plus side, at least they bothered to reply which is more than can be said for everyone else – including Hearts (which I am very disappointed about).

Time for Scots Government to Take Bull by the Horns
A quick update on the perhaps unsurprising response from my bout of Emailing;

– My MSP – no response
– The MSPs responsible for sport – generic response to acknowledge receipt
– My MP – no response
– My Team (Hearts) – no response
– The SPFL – no response
– UEFA – no response

I’ll give the politicians the benefit of the doubt since I think both the Scottish and UK Parliaments are both in recess, but pretty poor show from the footballing side of things…

I’m sure that it won’t make a blind bit of difference, but I have Emailed (in ascending order);
– My MSP
– The MSPs responsible for sport
– My MP
– My Team (Hearts)
– The SPFL
– UEFA
And if my work Computer had allowed me, I was going to contact both William Hill and Ladbrokes as well but I fell foul of our Internet filtering software!
I’d like to think that one of them might come back to me with some practical advice on what we can do to get another investigation sorted out.  If I get any useful information, i’ll post it on here…
