As Homunculus rightly says the present incumbents of Ibrox have never been in an admin. event.  The interesting thing will be, if one happens, what will be the points deduction?  I can’t remember for sure but I think it is 15 points for a first, 25 points for a second admin. event.  Since everyone and their granny have been telling us its the same club, will the SFA have the audacity to maximise the points deduction to reinforce the same club narrative?  Send The Rangers to the play offs or even worse, relegation?  Interesting.  Probably won’t come to pass they seem to keep managing to hang on.

Smugas, Sorry I didn’t see your earlier post.  I didn’t realise there was a ‘within 5 years’ element to it. 16

(To be honest I probably did know in the past but my memory is shot to bits!)

D. Broadfoot “I am the SFA”
That is a matter of opinion.

‘Not proven’  Where was this verdict during the ‘trial’ of Tonev?  Racist charge, one player’s word against another.  The ‘independant’ panel used verbal body language to come to a judgement.

Independent?  Appointed by the SFA?  Like LNS?

Makes me sick.  Rotten to the core.

The Day I was on the Scotland U-23 Bench
Who in the name of goodness sake awoke up during the past week and said to themselves “Oh it must be ten years since PLG left Rangers” ?  And yet, almost all of Scotland’s papers had a story on it!

Why.  Digging out pathetic tittle tattle from stars of yesteryear.  Concerted coincidence?   James Traynor still has an unhealthy influence on our MSM.  Thank god for sites like this.

The good news is that when I win the lottery tonight I am going to buy The Daily Record for 500k pounds.

My roving reporters will be JC & EJ (all expenses paid),  in depth business analysis – Auldheid.  Football stuff – everyone. Esp. Up the Hoops 02 Podcasts – BP.  The rest of my winnings will pay the Daily Record sports staff enough for a fish supper.

One can but dream.

It Is Better To Offer No Excuse Than A Bad One
Dom16,  Was thinking about Christmas decorations today.  I took mine down.  Most neighbours have done the same.  Nowadays with the huge build up to Christmas from November we are ready to put it behind earlier than in the past.  It used to be customary to keep decorations up until 5 Jan. ‘Epiphany Eve’ or ‘twelfth night’.  It’s good to see them go up but good to see them put away for another year!
(Merry Christmas).

Historical / hysterical January transfers:
Jean-Alain Boumsong (Rangers to Newcastle £8m, 2005)
This was a strange signing on many levels, with Newcastle paying Rangers £8m for Boumsong’s services just a few months after he’d been available on a free.

The Newcastle manager?  G. Souness! 21

(Think he received an EBT after it)

Just dawned on me it might be easier to just disable the thumb down button rather than introducing a LIKE button.

The thumbs down misuse mystifies me.  It happens often.  I wish we had a simple LIKE button with no dislike option.  You either vote for a post in a positive way or scroll past.  I know it would sacrifice the option of registering a strong disagreement in points of principle, but worth it I think.

It would take away the perverse satisfaction of these trolls.  Besides, our great posters are very able to counter any dubious posts with logical counter arguments. (Which can then be LIKED)
