I have a comment stuck in moderation since last Thu/Fri. Assume it is for misuse of the Abjab word.
My point was the continuation of the MSM under Jack/Traynors guidance to supply the necessary propaganda for Sir Charles and Sevco to continue on their merry (irony) way.
Under the pen name Gary Ralston, Jack/ Mr Traynor had four full pages of gratuitous guff published in Thursdays DR. Total and utter garbage, aimed at Sevco supporters, informing them (once again) of just how magnificent Lord Charles is. I realise the only real way to confront this issue is to cease buying this rag.
I well remember the caller to Real Radio about 18 months ago who stated on air “We run Scottish football”…….Guess who he supported.
Finally a Well done to Dundee Utd, for their dignified handling of the Scottish cup ticket boycott by Sevco

good post.

someone posted earlier that he thought it would have been a good idea for dundee utd to give away the tickets to schoolkids to fill the ground.

i think that is a good way to tackle “the problem”.
that way, sevco are not getting a cut as the tickets would be free and maybe the kids would have a pie and a drink whilst at the game?

The Dismal Art of Whataboutery

thanks for the interest. no i don’t have “proof”.
what i said was, this is possibly a variation of the starbuck/franchise type operation.

the spivs [octopus etc] can’t get the money into their pockets by selling the shares.(a ce moment)
they are apparently “locked in”.
so, how else can they “make money”?

by having a company (RIFC) that owns “goodwill” “history” a “corporate name” a “corporate logo” etc.
they charge another company who maybe wants to “use” these commodities (TRFC)

this other company (with the same directors/owners) charges another company (RFC) who would want to also use the corporate name, corporate logo, use of copyright etc…

if the money is going via british virgin isles or turks and caicos isles for example – tax havens?

Starbucks is not thought to be using the “Dutch Sandwich” and “Double Irish”, even if these sound like items on its menu. They are legal tax-avoidance techniques believed to have been used by, among others, Google, which was also called to testify before Parliament. Most of Google’s revenues in Europe are booked in Dublin, then shifted via royalty payments to a Dutch subsidiary, before whatever is left is recognised as profits by a subsidiary in Bermuda, which levies no income tax. Another online giant, Amazon, told parliamentarians that its low British corporate-tax bill—£1.8m in 2011—was due to its British operations merely providing back-office services to its main Europe-wide business, which is based in low-tax Luxembourg

Anyone help with further questions for the SFM Scottish football quiz?
1. Name the only footballer to have played for all three Old Firm Clubs?2. Which two major Scottish clubs were never ever relegated from the top division?

1 – Kenny Miller has played for Rangers FC, Celtic FC and The Rangers FC
2 – Celtic FC and Rangers FC* have never been relegated (* before going bust and into Liquidation)

Re Tom English and his recent Tweets. Someone just posted this to him, stating they are happy to acknowledge Rangers as the same club as long as King follows up on this vow. To be fair to English he agrees with the poster it is a fair point.

The point is Tom English is happy to ‘agree’ with people who provide such evidence on Twitter.

what he is not willing to do, is agree with like minded callers on radio shows
nor is he willing to state in print (newspaper columns) that Sevco and Rangers are two seperate clubs and that Sevco is a new club.

he is a coward who doesn’t want to end up like Brittny!
