Comment on The SPFL— the case for revolution, evolution and a case of the Hamilton Whackies ! by jimlarkin.

“If they went into administration and a CVA (company voluntary arrangement) was agreed they could still be playing in the SPL next season but with a 15-point deduction.
“[With a CVA] there’s an agreement settled by the administrator and the creditors will get paid a certain amount in the pound.
“The new entity will come out of that debt free. That really is the route of it for Hearts.
“The bank [Ukio Bankas] will get a fraction of what it’s due.
“If they can’t get a CVA, it will be a liquidation, a bit like Rangers, and there will be a new entity having to reapply for membership which would in all likelihood mean Third Division entry.”

RANGERS will be unseeded when the first round draw of the League Cup takes place at Hampden tomorrow.

And that means they will draw one of the 10 First Division sides or the top five in the Second Division from last season.
The draw takes place at 2.30pm with the first round scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 3 – a week before the beginning of the league campaign.
So Rangers will face one of the following:
Partick Thistle, Morton, Falkirk, Livingston, Hamilton, Raith, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, Airdrie, Queen of the South, Alloa, Brechin, Forfar, Arbroath.
The Light Blues produced their finest performance of last season in the League Cup when they knocked out Motherwell with a 2-0 win at Ibrox when the Steelmen were top of the SPL at the time.
They had eliminated East Fife and Falkirk before that victory over Stuart McCall’s side but they came unstuck in the quarter-finals against Inverness Caley Thistle.
Rangers, of course, have won the competition a record 27 times with the last victory coming in 2010/11 when Steve Davis and Nikica Jelavic scored in a 2-1 win over Celtic

Re Tom English and his recent Tweets. Someone just posted this to him, stating they are happy to acknowledge Rangers as the same club as long as King follows up on this vow. To be fair to English he agrees with the poster it is a fair point.
……………………

The point is Tom English is happy to ‘agree’ with people who provide such evidence on Twitter.

what he is not willing to do, is agree with like minded callers on radio shows
nor is he willing to state in print (newspaper columns) that Sevco and Rangers are two seperate clubs and that Sevco is a new club.

he is a coward who doesn’t want to end up like Brittny!
