Ally seems optimistic that the Newcastle game is going ahead.
Aye, but how many will turn up if it goes ahead? Could it be a new low crowd world record for a friendly?

“But our players picked up the newspaper at breakfast to be reminded they’re the worst team in Rangers’ history”

After reading above report I was wondering if they were holed up in a Glasgow or Forfar hotel overnight squandering more IPO money.

Ally added ….

“‘His total contempt and total lack of respect for the Rangers players and for Scottish football is an embarrassment.’”
Ally, are you not embarassed at being beaten by Forfar? Who has the embarassment of “riches?”

the ISC understands that Mr. Whyte’s business interests in the past haveincluded businesses involved with the provision of security services and buscompanies. The ISC is aware that businesses of these natures are significantlycash dependant, making them susceptible for use in connection with moneylaundering activities…
Craig Whyte and the Easdales?

Dunno why but STAGECOACH came into my head when I read it 😀

‘The news of Whyte’s detention was welcomed by Rangers boss Ally McCoist…’
As well it might be by a man under siege -and perhaps one of the very few who has not been recorded saying unfortunate things by Craigie! However much anyone else might be wondering what’s on tape, Ally can absolutely relax…..Maybe.

Trying to find a bookie who will give me a price on Donald Findlay QC defending Craig Whyte in court. Anyone got any prices?

I don’t think Mr Spiers is as intelligent as he would like us to think he is, not after that article.

I see Cowdenbeath have had their request to re-instate their weekend game turned down. Looking at the SPFL rules, it states –

Postponement and International Selection
G7 A Club shall be entitled to apply to the Board for the postponement of any Official
Match where three or more of its Players who would otherwise have participated
in such match are unavailable through international selection and, following receipt
of such an application, the Board may postpone and rearrange the relevant Official
Match in accordance with Rule G3.

Now, Mr Moshni is suspended for 2 games so his international call up is surely void. That leaves only Zaliukas and Sheils on international duty.

Anyone care to explain why Cowdenbeath had their request turned down?
Anyone in the SMSM care to ask the SPFL or TRFC?

“Well done to Aberdeen fantastic result for my nephew’s old team.”

Are we (TSFM) as bad as SMSM in not recognizing our teams victories?

Aberdeen successfully passed the 1st qualifying round by means of an 8-0 aggregate score.

Next Wednesday/Thursday we have 3 teams contesting Europa league competition.

Aberdeen v Groningen
Motherwell v Stjarnan
Lucerne v St Johnstone

How much copy will be given to this is anybody’s guess but I’m sure the Sevco opera will continue to over ride our “diddy” teams involvement.

I actually believe our 3 teams will progress to the 3rd qualifying round but from them on in, its gonna be extremely difficult. There are some “meaty” teams to be had here but I believe with the luck of the draw, one of our teams can reach the group stages.

Good luck Aberdeen, Motherwell and St Johnstone
