Re Tom English’s Piece

After Stuart Cosgrove’s mea culpa on yesterday’s Your Call me thinks this is TEs own attempt.

As writer he never fell in totally with the MSM script re The Govan Club tending to sit-on-the fence.

It’s a piece of ingratiation…”OK, can I get in now, boys?”

But at bottom when TGC hit the dust much of Scotland’s power brokers turned to default.

“…Financially we will suffer, but that was insignificant in doing the right thing”. PL at Celtic AGM.

I had admiration for GS when he confronted (S)DM on the feasibility of the financial regime that existed at the Govan Club. Ah! says I, someone is after the truth. Good on him.

Now I ask myself – what was the motivation for his questioning. Was it the search for truth (in itself) or his fear of the demise of the Govan Club.

Since then his jottings have proved the latter.

I ask Mr Speirs, when next in prayer mode, to examine his conscience and decide.

The jackboot stamps and an injunction is slapped on PMcCs blog!!!
I can guess the reasons why but how and what are Paul’s options re overturning this?

Not only are MSM not asking the right questions now NO ONE can ask the right questions.

What a wonderful wee democratic country we live in.

I really appreciate the excellent investigative work being done by some posters but…
other than showing linkage what’s it proving?…
or am I missing something here?

The OSCR email is disturbing. The subtext of their assertion that it’s in the Public Interest can only be read as – the ‘Fabric of Scottish Society’ would threaten public safety.
Might has become right.

If the Groucho Club, well known slurping Palace for luvvies and meedja folk or White’s Gentlemen’s Club, founded in 17 cent for toffs, entered liquidation, any start-up as a result of their demise – The New Groucho or Off-White’s, would not be considered the same club. However the history of their predecessors would be fondly remembered, even ‘attached’ to the new club.

“Now the first caller on Sportsound Extra was an SSB regular, says he’s a Celtic fan, but the crux of his every call is: ‘Ah miss Rangers’. I’m not entirely convinced he’s a supporter of the grand old team.”

Heard the same guy 3/4 weeks ago on Sportsound Extra saying same thing.
He gives the impression of being a concerned CFC supporter pointing out some deficiencies in team/manager.
Then moans about CFC needing the Govan Club.

He’s a plant. Who’s?
