I wouldve thought Walter Smith played a greater part in sinking Rangers so why is he trying to blame their downfall on DUFC?

I dont recall Walter curtailing his forays into the transfer market when they were already up to their eyeballs. Added to that the contracts and wages he handed out to average players before he jumped ship.

That headline should be rewritten as “I played my part in sinking Rangers, please forgive me”.

None of their cheerleaders seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet we had bomber saying the boycott was because of the game called off in 2009 whereas Walter is saying that its because united were vocal about sevcos entry to the SPL.

Last night for me was a double whammy, the FTT decision and Celtic losing in the champions league. This morning, on reflection it aint so bad, The Rangers are a new club playing in the third division and Murrays lot are in hock to the bank to the tune of around £800 million.

This is not a victory for ordinary Rangers supporters, who genuinely care about their club
and who have done no wrong other than trusting the people in charge with their hard earned cash. Regardless of the result, the contents of the FTT findings portray the Rangers custodians in poor light.

Allegiances aside, any tax paying person has got to question the moral reasons for the EBT schemes employed by RFC.

One thing i have to ask what was all the secret nuclear chat in the past? Contributors to RTC blog and TSFM have hinted at something bigger or ‘nuclear’ lurking under the surface that could not yet be disclosed. Forgive me for getting the feeling now that this was all wishful thinking but I hope someone can say different and reverse the disappointment of anti-climax.

What I can’t understand is we had Billy Dodds discussing his payment through EBT live on BBC radio saying it was wages owed and at no point he was told it was a loan to be repaid. I would’ve thought this would have been the majority of players take on the monies they received. So why today are we being told that Rangers have won their FTT appeal??

Im wondering if the tactical move by HMRC to blow the CVA out of the water is going to pay dividends come the appeal. They now have BDO im going over everything does this mean that if new evidence is found during the liquidation it can be submitted at the appeal?

Reading over the FTT findings it sticks out like a sore thumb who Mr Magenta is! Bearing in mind his current position it doesnt look good.

A Roman God, a New Year, a Paycheque a Sports Jacket and that thing called football!
Can I have a reminder of the official slogan for the removal of CO, is it “Campbell we’re Scunnered”?

I’m still hoping that Mr Cosgrove can persuade him to appear for some witty banter on Off The Ball. I was thinking Mr Cowan could organise input from the audience with details their most expensive night out or an EBT Eleven suggestions.

Who will be the president of this new super governing body, the worlds greatest administrator Campbell Ogilvie?

I think we need a repeat of the response from fans when we were being told The Rangers were to be granted entry to the SPL as a top club. I hope supporters have the appetite to bring about the changes the paying customers deserve. The governing bodies are banking on apathy setting and we just just accept the dross theyre planning on serving up.

From The Rangers Standard interview with Paul Murray, I thought his comments regarding the state of Scottish football were spot on. What he should have noted was this 20 year decline corresponds with the period of time that Sir Minty was in charge of Rangers

P. Murray: “I don’t know how old you guys are but I’ve been watching Scottish football since the 1970s and the decline in Scottish football in the last twenty years is staggering, absolutely staggering. It’s reflected in the national team, the fact that most of the teams in Europe get knocked out at the first round-it’s just an embarrassment isn’t it?””I don’t know how old you guys are but I’ve been watching Scottish football since the 1970s and the decline in Scottish football in the last twenty years is staggering, absolutely staggering. The Dismal Art of Whataboutery
I’ve no allegiance to killie but would it be worthwhile putting our weight behind his clash with the authorities? Its not going to change Scottish football but by raising the imbalance of fairness by comparing Mr Charles constant rhetoric to Kenny Shiels stating the facts we might at least make them aware of our level of frustration.

The Real Battle Begins?
Regarding Greens comments in the record, I find his justification for the timing of the share issue hard to believe. In my opinion they either wanted it to bomb for whatever reason or they are desperate for cash. Happy to indulge in whitabooutery, maybe some other individual or institution was promised money by this years end rather than his excuse that he didnt want to break his promises to the supporters.
