Not the most engaging individual I ever spoke to, but he was a super player everywhere he played, from Clyde to Barcelona.
……………………………
But not Love Street.
A ludicrously expensive hire as a striker, during the crazy years for Scottish fitba, Stevie slotted 2 goals in 16 appearances before he returned for a second spell at Clyde where, IIRC, he scored nil.
Rose-coloured spex are not what they used to be…

Why We Need to Change
tykebhoy says:
re St Mirren yep a very youthful side last night having also lost one of their better players to Hibs. I suspect they may have struggled even more than last if they were still in the SPFL this season and like others from what little I saw last night I think they would have gone on and won had the penalty taker remembered it was football and not Rugby.

Folk on here post of the nefarious impact that so much official cheating, skulduggery and corruption may have on the game.

To my shame, when Buddie legend Thommo skyed the penalty kick, I had the briefest of nasty thoughts.
“So THAT’s what EBTs are for…”.

I’m sure that was wrong. I’m sure it was a typically gut-wrenching honest miss by a man who gives his all for our/his club.
And yet…. and yet…
Due to a decade of dastardly deeds, a wee worm continues to wriggle in my mind.
It’s a shite state of affairs. πŸ™

β€œCan’t you just make external links always open a new page/tab, thereby NOT leaving the TSFM page at all? It’s a relatively simple change to the HTML tag”

Provided you are using a PC:-
If you right click the link you will get a box giving you the following choices

Open
Etc…

Select the one you want and you can click back and forth between SFM and new tab/window

Using a tablet (nexus) as soon as you click the link a new tab is opened.

Not quite.
On an Ipad if you touch and HOLD the link, in due course the same/similar menu pops up.
I’d have thought Nexus could do that, too.

Interesting to note the John James last two blogs are only accessible via a payment and pin method.

Good.
Missing it already – the recent times in which I’ve wandered back there for a free keek, I’ve been concerned for his mental strength.  Like a hand-knitted geeg, hurtling close to the earth with wobbling wheels predestined to hurtle off, crashing and not burning…

“I accept RFC brought the game into dispute……Stripping medals from a dead sportsmen for bringing the game into disrepute seems a tad heartless.”
……………………………………….

1.  The dead, as you know, are unable to feel any hurt.

2. Dead sportsmen who knowingly indulged in cheating practices in order to gain an unfair advantage over honest competitors are unworthy of our compassion.

3. Besides, as Shug McDiarmid almost put it,

“A living man/club upon a DEID man/club thinks,
And ony sma’er thocht’s impossible”.

Rangers died.  That’s all.

The rest is noise.
We’ve all moved on and have no wish to be dancing on the heads of angelic pins being embellished by such as yourself.

“Why are you asking me questions that are irrelevant to the membership transfer? I am not denying liquidation.”
Ern…
If you’re not denying liquidation, then why belabour irrelevant, metaphysical questions about a spurious membership?
