Nearly fainted when I read Tris. post about moving into the Emirates! Thinking, London for the TSFM! The Cost, the money will be gone in a month! The logistics for guests. Pig Pink having to relocate (I presume). Then I read it more carefully. 😆

Why We Need to Change
A lot of the stuff posted today, I don’t understand. The top guys at Scottish Football are easy targets. SR, ND, CO. They have said some stupid things (or not said anything CO)

But you know who is really to blame for everything wrong in Scottish football this last decade? The representatives of each team who had a vote. And I include Celtics men there. It wasn’t until fans from all over Scotland threatened a boycott they actually grew a pair.

5 way secret agreements are only permissible by the collusion of our disgusting agreement of our local Chairmen. Makes me sick.

Why We Need to Change
I don’t understand the delay in the next ‘Radio Show’. As I understood it they were trial runs, but they were pretty good in my opinion. What is the problem?

And please avoid this nonsense of trying to be so impartial that we can’t ask decent ex players like Jim Craig on and discuss tactics beforehand that you should avoid all things Celtic and concentrate on the Motherwell result. That reeks of SMSM.

Over time, there should be plenty of opportunities for ex players of every club in the land to be on the show.

I still think Mark Wilson would be a good guest but I’m prepared to wait twelve months until all other clubs are represented.

Big Pink, you are doing a great job. Stop worrying so much! There are so many strong posters on here who are not Celtic supporters that this site will never develop into a Celtic forum. Thank goodness.

Why We Need to Change
Ok Big Pink lets leave Mark Wilson on the back burner for a while (metaphorically of course). I suppose it comes back to my selfish hopes of the site going forward. The Radio side of it talking about football. All sides without fear or favour. Little politics although the Scott Allan saga demonstrates some stories contain an element of both.
The blog being what it always has been Monitoring the off the pitch stuff. The best of both worlds 😀

It Is Better To Offer No Excuse Than A Bad One
Dom16,  Was thinking about Christmas decorations today.  I took mine down.  Most neighbours have done the same.  Nowadays with the huge build up to Christmas from November we are ready to put it behind earlier than in the past.  It used to be customary to keep decorations up until 5 Jan. ‘Epiphany Eve’ or ‘twelfth night’.  It’s good to see them go up but good to see them put away for another year!
(Merry Christmas).

Historical / hysterical January transfers:
Jean-Alain Boumsong (Rangers to Newcastle £8m, 2005)
This was a strange signing on many levels, with Newcastle paying Rangers £8m for Boumsong’s services just a few months after he’d been available on a free.

The Newcastle manager?  G. Souness! 21

(Think he received an EBT after it)

Just dawned on me it might be easier to just disable the thumb down button rather than introducing a LIKE button.

It Is Better To Offer No Excuse Than A Bad One
The thumbs down misuse mystifies me.  It happens often.  I wish we had a simple LIKE button with no dislike option.  You either vote for a post in a positive way or scroll past.  I know it would sacrifice the option of registering a strong disagreement in points of principle, but worth it I think.

It would take away the perverse satisfaction of these trolls.  Besides, our great posters are very able to counter any dubious posts with logical counter arguments. (Which can then be LIKED)
