I have made a cheeky bid for Lance Armstrong’s history, I look good in yellow 🙂

Always fancied a Tour de France title or 7

You lot can call me ‘The Lance’ from this point. 🙂

Anyway, that’s all deflection as we were talking about whether Scottish football would bend the rules as far as they could to keep the two Glasgow clubs in business at any price. My view is that it would. Celtic, like Rangers, wouldn’t be treated in the same way Gretna were.”

We (Celtic) have NEVER been treated the same as the old (or new) Rangers.

When the bank was for closing Celtic down my abiding memories were of the MSM baying for blood, countdown to closure, hearses at the stadium etc. it was a great laugh.

It is refreshing to see outside bodies involved, HMRC, BDO, Lord Nimmo Smith, let’s hope justice will be seen to be done.

Interesting times ahead.

Thats funny, my memories of last year are “the MSM baying for blood, countdown to closure, hearses at the stadium etc”………….well along they lines anyway.

As for it being “a great laugh”…………yes, I’d say most of my friends (outwith Rangers) had a great laugh!

Very little difference in my opinion apart from circumstances and a natural difference due to 20 years having past!

HUGE difference

There was no collusion between the governing bodies to rescue Celtic by any means necessary,

No talks of armageddon, re-structuring etc.

We would have been going the way of Airdrie, Gretna etc……………As would have been right and proper.

I’d simply refer you to your username.

I think it’s been proved conclusively that Celtic supporters weren’t paranoid enough.

A Lie for a Lie
All SPFL clubs received a considerable cash windfall (£250,000 each) when Celtic qualifier for CL…..No?

A Lie for a Lie
I would respectfully suggest that the financial ‘direction of travel’ any club was on when the ‘force majeure’ was encountered would be a consideration?

A Lie for a Lie
I made my personal decision in 2013 when I came to the conclusion that Celtic were complicit in the corruption of our game.

I stopped buying my 2 season books.

I have proxied my shares to Auldheid and his fabulous colleagues from day 1 to continue to take the fight to the crooks.

Don't stop now guys, the whites of their eyes ate showing.

Bad Money?
"it seems odd that someone who doesn't belong to a club can hold office as president of the SFA!"

I ask the same question, I thought you had to be the CEO of a club to hold high office in the SFA.

Does anyone else use Weatherspoons, or buy Dysons these days????

No me
