Charles Green isn’t stupid (presumption), why would he open himself up by stating things like “the properties are valued at £80m”, unless his backside was covered
I agree he isn’t stupid, but he does tell outrageous lies; almost every public statement contains at least one. And for the most part they go unchallenged.
And is that not the problem.
While hardly the Spanish Inquisition the STV guy did asked the right questions with regard who the investors were and did the ‘club’ own Ibrox Murray Park etc. Mr Charles didn’t give a direct answer but said nothing to worry about (and in a reasonable manner IMHO) that all those issues would have to be be revealed as required by the AIM procedures in the proposed prospectus in a few weeks time. (Whether that happens is another argument).
Then he can’t help himself and throws in the total rubbish about the properties being valued at £80m and the alarm bells start ringing.

They just can’t help overegg the pudding.

Did they learn nothing from what Bobby De Niro dished out after people started splashing the cash from the Lufthansa Heist.

Just keep your head down and your mouth shut and you might just get away with it.

Apparently if you are one of the chosen few then ‘yes’ to all of the above.

Of course for the rest of us it will be Barlinnie 🙂

To donsfan and a reminder to everyone on this site along with any MSM journos who might be looking in;-

There is an old Chinese proverb that says, “He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. He who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.”

Therefore there are no silly or stupid questions. The only questions that are silly or stupid are those you never asked.

Naming the Rose
Earlier tonight I was working on an application to become a member of an organisation within my chosen profession. Frankly I can’t be bothered with all that stuff but it needs to be done to keep winning work and put bread on my famiy’s table.
Tomorrow I will put the final touches to a report that will detail my expereince and knowledge and this will then be used to determine if I am good enough to join this body. As no doubt many others on here will know from doing something similar I am trying to be honest and accurate in what I am saying. I don’t want to claim anything that I can’t back up because I or others could be questioned. I require to be sponsored in my application and I do not want to make myself or anyone else look foolish.
Meanwhile these cheats and liars go through life without a care in the world and actually get a spot on primetime tele to peddle their nonesense.

To say I am a bit unhappy is an understatement.

It Is Better To Offer No Excuse Than A Bad One

Indeed. And that was my other thought.
Even if Mark Allen does a good job T”Rangers wouldn’t see any cash for any upcoming talent (internal or bought in)  for a god number of years.
To date a good few lads showing talent have been allowed to leave to keep the lights on.
At present the only prospect they have is McRorie who I think has stepped up and performed well when asked. He certainly has confidence and could develop into a decent centre back playing with the likes of Souttar for Scotland.

I am sure the thought will have crossed other’s minds but will say it anyway.
Celtics ‘free money’ from the VVD  transfer is more than T’Rangers stated  loan requirements to keep the lights on for the next year or two.
Thats the size of the gap between Celtic and the rest of us.

Thought that may be the case but was wondering if someone would be trying to get ahead of the game.
