Honest people like Jim Spence, Stuart Cosgrove, Tam Cowan and to a lesser extent Graham Spiers are looked upon by the SMSM as mavericks. They would dearly love to say what these guys do but they realise that commercially they can’t.

Only today we read that The Scottish Sun has had a fall of 12% in sales. Any truthful journo reporting on the Sevco situation would see this deterioration double.

We are p.ssing against the wind in hoping that there will be turnaround in their ethics. It won’t happen.

They see their stance being for the greater good.

I don’t.

The £10m paid out other than football player salaries surely needs to be broken down especially as the board members were “only” paid £1.6m of this. I wonder if there are quite a few big hitters (ringers) who have come and gone in the 13 months. A quick calculation. If TRFC employ an average 150 non playing staff then it would mean that the average staff member is being paid £56k a year.

52 0 Rate
…. Revenue – 8m season tickets, but 13.2m gate receipts. That means 5.2m over 18 games on walk in’s/hospitality, or 288k a game. (too high in my …)
Hmm, anyone else thinking a football club would be an ideal opportunity to launder dirty money?

I’d thought that more likely down Gorgie way but steven’s fag packet calculation has did have me wondering too.

For years now it has been alleged that taxi firms have been used as money laundering machines in Scotland. To suggest that TRFC could be used as such in the full gaze of the SMSM is taking this too far.

A lot of good reading regarding Celtic’s accounts on FF this evening but the views of this accountant stood out for me.

Why We Need to Change
Just listened back to BBC Sportsound there. Listening to Richard Wilson makes me just want to cancel my subscription with the BBC. If only that was possible without a criminal record for my Mrs. Houston made Tom English sound like Bamber Gascoigne.

I note that Graeme has taken over from Mr Park. I would be worried about my inheritance too.

More to follow me thinks.

I see this was apparently sent to Craig Mather on 7/10/2013. No wonder he resigned from RIFC as CEO a week later 😆
I would imagine Sandy’s old English teacher won’t be dining off his success at all those Greenock dinner parties anymore after that shocker.

At first I thought this was the work of a “Timposter” but apparently not.

The Rangrs bingo game rules are simple.
Choose the date when The Rangers administration is announced.
My pick is May 22nd 2014
By now Doncaster will have been asked the question of the points deduction when they fall into administration. Once they are leading their league by this amount plus 10 points I would expect it then.

My Bingo guess is 17th March.

One thing’s for sure if it’s going to happen it will be this season. They would have no chance of gaining promotion into the top tier if it happened next season.

Well done Hibs tonight. A great turnout also.
