“Do people still think Celtic are correct to remain silent on this national disgrace?”

I really don’t know what utterance from Celtic F.C. could do any good. I’m not a lawyer but, from White to Green and all shades in between, I don’t believe anybody has done anything criminal.

They are sailing close to the wind maybe, in their brass necked bare faced exploitation of inadequate company law with SFA/SPL connivance.

I keep saying the whole saga has all the hallmarks of master builders’ influence. What do you think Celtic should say?

The master plan is newco back in top tier asap. With the assets at their disposal this should be duly accomplished. But there’s many a slip. Insurance will be needed. Honest mistakes (not the normal periodic errors made by all human beings) will occur as required, as in the past. This is the on field in your face corruption of last resort.

How can a web site monitoring corruption ignore the ultimate? I know it’s a problem area riddled with whataboutery. Would a couple of ground rules not limit that, e.g. only result-altering dud decisions, backed by recorded evidence to be considered, and only from known contributors? This is a broad outline only. It can be done, in my opinion.
Not to do it will have tears of joy rolling down well known faces.

As you have said, the wider the viewpoints, the better the discussion, up to a point. I think the word is heterogeneity of blog. The current demographic of football support probably means most contributors will have a pro-Celtic leaning. I don’t think TU/TD mean a lot. I’ve given you both from time to time.

I think you’re like most of us. You put in some good stuff, and some not so good. Maybe you’re being a shade over-sensitive to hyper criticism, which is no use to anybody. I for one hope you’ll reconsider, and declare yourself back in.

And the reason given for the non-punishment of Bougherra was that they had spoken to the referee who swore that at no stage had he felt threatened. So the new yardstick for judging the offence became whether the official felt threatened.

I think you’re giving me too much credit, but I’ll take it!

Taking a leaf out of Goosey’s book, I predict that when people can no longer deny that limited liability club is company is club, they will switch the emphasis to Team. It’s not the club that wins games they will tell us, it’s the team on the pitch. Right, so maybe the club’s dead, but the team lives on the same as every other team. Sure players have died, retired, been transferred, but that’s the same for all teams.

At last they’ll have something that’s true for every club that operates a team that consists of players on the park. But don’t anybody mention unregistered contracts.

I believe you do on the whole a very good job scanning, moderating and so on, to produce a first class blog, frequented by excellent contributors. But could there be times when you need to reassess your input?

You deleted a post of mine. No big deal. You’ve deleted better posts than that. I asked you why. You gave as the reason that the point I made is debatable, and many would argue most definitely against it.

Not true and you know that. That is not the reason your post was removed. I await your apology

These are grounds for censorship? Do you actually believe comments are inappropriate because they are debatable and that people would argue strongly against them? On a blog on Scottish football, and in its current state?
Can you be serious?

Greenock Jack,
You claimed that PM got unfair criticism on here. Not having seen any, I asked you for examples. You come up with one only, that P. Murray is not leadership material, and then you say you agree with it! You’re not making sense.
